The Roach Poem

Was about to sleep when a small creature crawled,
I caught it with the corner of my eyes as it walked.
Calm and steady I took the Risect and the broom,
swish and splash but it was not sent to it's doom.
Out it flies into my rummie's wardrobe,
what to do but to give it a little shove.
Fortunately we trapped it as we poach,
here ends the story of the nasty cockroach.
